Poppy Almond

Hi hunni! I’m Poppy Almond, an actress and writer based in London.

For the last six years I’ve been a reader for Just Add Milk (JAM), a charity that hosts workshop for actors with casting directors and agents. I’ve read opposite a silly amount of actors - seriously, over 2000 at least.

From working for JAM, I now have a number of clients whom I regularly work with on audition preparation in whatever capacity is necessary. I work as a reader for theatre auditions, and for actors with a hefty role coming up, I’ve become their go-to for drilling lines until they know them like the back of their hand.

Annoyingly, there’s only so many favours you can ask of your friends (or your mum) so I’m here as your emergency contact. I work around the clock. Call me from London, Aus or LA; at 5am, 10pm or midday. I got you.

I trained at The BRIT School, ArtsEd and received a Masters from Royal Welsh College Of Music And Drama. I’m also equipped with a DBS.
